Chennai National Arts and Science College, is a co-educational Self financing private institution, established in the year 1998 under the sponsorship of Lakshmi Saraswathi Educational Trust. The college is affiliated to the University of Madras and approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Chennai National Arts and Science College is committed for imparting quality education to students and train the youth for the development of their talents and intellectual power so as to transform them into valuable graduates and responsible citizens of our country.
The college is located close to Annanur Railway station and easily accessible through public and metropolitan transport from Avadi, Ambattur and Poonamallee areas. The college consists of architecturally and aesthetically constructed buildings with a beautiful campus surrounded by trees and green fields.
The management offers job oriented UG courses BCA, Bsc(CS), BCom(G), BCom(CS), BBA, Bsc(BC), Bsc(MB), BSc(VC) and also M. Com Degree course. Now the college has the students strength 850 with 44 teaching faculty and 12 non-teaching faculty
The college is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure and laboratory facilities to impart quality education to students with a team of dedicated and qualified faculty.
The college trains the youth with NSS, RRC (Red Ribbon club) activities which stimulate and enrich student’s awareness of their social mileu reaching out to the community outside the College too.
The College aims to focus on academic studies by equally prioritizing both academic and extracurricular activities. This balanced approach is intended to support the overall development of students, helping them grow in various aspects of their personalities.
The College provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls. The management operates adequate bus service to important City routes.
The college welcomes and encourages innovative measures in the teaching – learning process and one of its ideals is to reach International Standards in Education.
Our vision is to illuminate the lives of the underprivileged students by imparting quality education focusing on inter disciplinary knowledge, equipping the students with relevant skills needed and to adapt to the changing global scenario.
